                               RESOLUTION NO. 21413
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
                  A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF
                  TENNESSEE, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FOR
                  FISCAL YEAR 1997-98, RELATIVE TO THE STATE
                  REIMBURSING THE CITY FOR MAINTENANCE WORK ON
                  STATE HIGHWAYS ROUTED THROUGH THE CITY.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a Maintenance Contract with the State of Tennessee,
       Department of Transportation, for fiscal year 1997-98, relative 
to
       the State reimbursing the City for maintenance work on State
       highways routed through the City.
